The Essence Of Christmas

Christmas decorations without the Nativity Scene somehow inculcates to us and to our children today a life of ease and comfort, a life without suffering and pain. But this is far from our reality as human beings, the poor and the rich have their own share of suffering and pain. Our materialistic world makes us suffer all the more by shunning the reality of suffering in our life, we can never escape suffering! Whether we like it or not pain and suffering are part of our life, our consolation in this life is the message the Nativity Scene wants to impart to us that is, Christ came to live with us and among us. By His own suffering, He taught us how to suffer. By His own life He taught us how to live. He does not take away suffering from but He suffers with us!
Christmas then is not at all in the things we do to celebrate Christmas- parties, decorations nor glittering lights. The essence of Christmas is Christ himself, it is because of Him that we celebrate Christmas. In a way, in celebrating Christmas we celebrate our lives too, because Christmas gives us hope. Yes, life can be difficult and trying but Christ is with us in our suffering. Christ took our very own humanity unto himself to save us from our sins and to show us how to be like Him, In Christ we have found our Way back to the Father.
Day in and day out we are bombarded with ads and slogans that entice us to seek an easy and comfortable life; we cannot avoid being enmeshed in such ads and slogans. Christ gives us the necessary antidote every year, by allowing us to celebrate life each year as we celebrate Christmas. Each Christmas then should remind us of the fact that we can never escape from suffering but Christ gives meaning and value to our suffering and to our life. He took our suffering upon Himself. He was born into this world to save us by dying on the Cross so that we may live. The part we have to play is to carry the little crosses of our everyday life. Now, we know that after all, the yoke is easy and the burden light because Christ has already carried it for us!

"My Teacher, My Hero"

Hero? I've always thought about the s usuperpowers of some superheroes. But not all super heroes have their own powers. Considering that some heroes does not have any powers.....
One good example of this hero that do not have a power are the teachers..Teachers are the one who's molding us..Considering that they are our second mother..Teaching is what the teachers do..I think without teachers there are no professionals...Teaching is hard but the teachers are trying their best just to let their students become successful..Some students do not respect their teachers. As I've observe some are using their cellphones instead of listening..That is one of the proof that some do not respect their teachers.."Teachers don't die, they've just fade away" as one of my teacher said before..
Now we can see how important teachers are...They are the one who's making us successful by their meaningful advice..

"Sa Pangangalaga ng Wika at Kalikasan Wagas na Pagmamahal Talagang Kailangan"

Month of August is what we call the "Buwan ng Wika"."Sa Pangangalaga Ng Wika At Kalikasan Wagas Na Pagmamahal Talagang Kailangan" this word means that we should take good care of our language and the nature.Taking good care of our own will lead us to a better future.Language is important to all of us.Language is the key so that everyone in world will understand each other. If we don't have our own dialect what will happen to us, how can we communicate to the others.
We should keep our nature clean, we do not have to destroy nature because it is important to ones life.Everyone should do something to make the nature beautiful. Some are destroying the nature they don't know that nature is one of our need.Without it we maybe we cannot live because where we will suppose to plant some foods? We should plant trees in order to keep the ozone layer in becoming bigger. We should not cut down trees because it affects the ozone layer. It maybe also the cause of landslide because there are no more trees who will absorb the water when it is raining. This is how nature and language is how important to us.

A Letter To Mr. President

Dear Mr. President,

Congratulations for being the newly elected President of the Republic of the Philippines.

Being the son of a hero Benigno Simeon Aquino II or most commonly known as "Ninoy" and a mother of the democracy, Pres. Corazon Aquino or "Cory" is indeed a big factor of your victory. We believe that "KUNG WALANG CORRUPT, WALANG MAHIRAP".Corruption is the biggest problem or the cause of poverty in our country today.

As you enter into your office, please prioritize those problems that needs an urgent solution. We know that you won't do it just in a day but we hope to solve those as soon as possible.

In prioritizing these problems, HEALTH should be the first on your lists.Lot of people die because they can't afford to go to hospitals or even buy some medicines.EDUCATION should be the second, as one of the survey says that out of 100 students, only 10 were able to reach collage. We hope that you will have an immediate solution for this, probably scholarships, financial assistance and a high quality public schools.
